Cybit Asset Locator™ supplies fundamental vehicle data to managers via an easy-to-use web-based application (CybitAssetLocator.com). Time-triggered data transfers report on mileage, fuel consumption, precise position and routes travelled, as well as on vehicle statistics like speed and engine performance. Both current and historical information is stored and readily available for analysis using CybitAssetLocator.com. Event-triggered alerts signal violations of pre-defined operating zones (geofences) and designated delivery routes, while alerting managers to device power cuts, tampering, accidents or vehicle misuse.
Cybit Asset Locator-equipped drivers may use in-vehicle mapping displays to stay on course or panic buttons in case of breakdown or emergency. Vehicles can be equipped with tracking devices integrated with engine immobilizers and alarm systems that can alert the driver by text message via the Cybit Positioning Solutions' Hub. In addition, the Cybit Positioning Solutions Response Centre will contact the driver by phone to assess the situation. In the event of theft or driver distress, the relevant authorities or emergency services will be dispatched to the driver and vehicle.
